Campus Party is recognized as the biggest electronic entertainment event on-line in the world. An annual event that brings together thousands of participants with their computers from all over the world in order to share their concerns and experiences and carry out a whole range of different activities related to computers, communications and new technologies.
The human factor is the heart of Campus Party; the computer screen comes to life under the slogan “Internet is not a network of computers, it’s a network of PEOPLE”.

This event came to life in 1997 in Mollina, Málaga. From the beginning, the event has had a formative character, and brings together the different platforms and communities from the computer world, convening them to create an appropriate meeting point for the exchange of ideas and knowledge.

In 2008, Campus Party went international and at the moment, has annual editions in Sao Paulo - Brazil, Bogotá - Colombia, Valencia - Spain y Mexico City - Mexico. In addition to these international editions, in October 2008 a special edition of Campus Party was held in conjunction with the Cumbre Iberoamericana de Jefes de Estado (Ibero-American Summit) and the Government of El Salvador as part of the official agenda for the Summit. Campus Party Ibero-america in San Salvador brought together 500 participants from all the different countries of the Ibero-American Region.
Historically, Campus Party has had the power to bring the public together, an unconditional implication by both public and private institutions and an extraordinary impact in the press, year after year.

The 250 young people that attended the first Campus Party have grown thanks to the enthusiasm of thousands of young people from all over the world, who year after year attend this event. The Asociación E3 Futura is the promoter of the event, and the organization is managed by Futura Networks.
The spectacular evolution in contents available to the users (who attend with their own computers and technological equipment) in the various themed areas, which cover disciplines from digital creativity to robotics, from software development and modding to video games, among others.

The workshops, conferences, competitions and other programmed activities, award Campus Party a consistency in education and contents that make it a date not to be missed. And, what is more important, it maintains the spirit of collaboration and participation, demonstrating that knowledge grows when it is shared.
