Guinness World Records

The Largest Social / global development project competition was achieved Campus Party (Mexico) in Guadalajara  Jalisco, Mexico on 2 July 2016.

Campus Party is officially amazing

In the past Campus Party Mexico held in Guadalajara, Jalisco came to a successful conclusion the Hackathon won by the entrepreneur team Brainiacs. (winners of the last hackathon in Centro Fox) The quintet from Guanajuato  developed a text-based smartphone to enable applications that help fight poverty in remote communities with hard access.
 
Another invaluable news was that Campus Party was awarded as the International Guinness Record for achieving the biggest hackathon in history, delivered by the representative of the World Guinness Records, Sarah Casson to Raul Martin director of the event in México. The record was achieved by working together with the National Institute of Entrepreneurship (INADEM).

Hackathon Campus Party


A hackathon is an activity where specialists from different disciplines meet with complementary expertise to develop a solution to a particular problem using technology as a medium. In the Campus Party Hackathon by Hackers and Founders, the campuseros developed innovative solutions to combat one of the most sensitive issues that have Mexico: Poverty through 6 different ways.

 

  1. Financial inclusion: Loans, savings schemes, payment systems.
  2. Labor inclusion: Training systems, recruiting, self-employment, eficientización tools.
  3. Housing: Building materials and alternative housing models. Use of space sensors.
  4. Health: Telemedicine accessible and functional, innovative drugs, diagnostic systems or research and development scalable, prostheses, medical devices.
  5. Food: Alternative foods more accessible, new ingredients, production systems scalable food, tools for extracting new sources of supply.
  6. Education: Educational methodologies, training scalable systems, video games, VR / AR.

With 855 participants, and 265 projects that met the guidelines raised by the accrediting organization, the Hackathon had the support of 578 mentors along the 4-day of the event. In addition to 182 judges for the 3 filter processes and a team of 10 volunteers for logistical support.

Brainiacs [Winner]
A text-based smartphone to enable applications that help fight poverty in remote communities. The type of applications that can be generated are to improve health, education, security, communication, financial inclusion, among others. Our way to reach the market with an application for remittance.

Platform for loans peer to peer between people. As 90% of people, when needs money, the first option is  family and friends. Also generates an e-wallet and credit history for the use

Jobs for all
Taking  job portals as source such as empleo.gob.mx, boomerang, indeed, among others, this inclusive portal register those who wish to employ people with disabilities, giving them the opportunity work keeping an eye on them and the companies involved.

Recollective
App to connect people with a trade with companies, businesses or individuals who need their services, taking into account the low-income users who don't have an Internet  connection or a smartphone to download the app. These users can connect  via SMS.

Create a virtual  construction assistant to provide recommendations for self-construction with machine learning and use of materials in various settings and environments to people living in situations of urban poverty, lacking housing, without the resources to hire specialists.

Supply with Power low-income populations to improve their quality of life.

Technological solution to ensure and report water disinfection by solar radiation suitable for human consumption in low-income communities.

Todoc
Web-app that allows doctors to carry digital and formal record of their work within pharmacies and clinics, while patients may carry medical information with any provider.

AGRONET
Within farmers an estimated 70% fall within the concept of poverty, and agriculture is their main source of income and employment. The project impacts directly and indirectly in various sectors general population: Improvement in the quantity and quality of products, cheaper prices on everything that the field can provide society. Process Agriculture: Decreased operating expenses, optimization of natural resources and times. From this platform it will seek to raise awareness throughout the chain of agriculture in which penetration has to donate a portion of the utility in the fight against hunger in areas of extreme poverty.

Perform a mathematical game based on the curriculum provided by the SEP, primarily referenced in the book of mathematical challenges of second grade. To serve as an educational tool to reinforce the knowledge acquired in the classroom.
